Sponge/Utensil Painting

We were asked to go to our local shopping centre and do arts and crafts with the kids.  I gathered up some sponges and utensils from the kitchen and cut up some butchers paper. 

 
This was a great activities for children of all ages.  The younger children loved seeing what patterns were created from each of the objects.  The older children used the different patterns to create a picture.  It was wonderful to watch their imaginations run wild!
